Our Part Container or Groupage Service is usually the most appropriate method when relocating a smaller quantity of personal effects or part of your household. This service usually offers a considerable cost saving, but it will take longer for your possessions to
arrive. Most of the popular shipping routes around the world have regular services for shared/groupage containers so you can still be sure that your possessions will arrive in a reasonable time.
Our Sole Use Container Service will probably be the most appropriate method if you are relocating your complete household to your new residence. The shipping container can be loaded at your premises, subject to access, sealed in your presence and pre booked onto a vessel so offering greater control of how and when your goods arrive at destination.
Our LCL or ‘Less Than Container Load’ Service is ideal for those relocating a part household who simply cannot wait for a groupage container to consolidate. This service involves placing your goods into a protective wooden case and then into a container.
| If shipping Antiques or Fine Art full case-making facilities are available for this service. | ![]() |

Documents Required To Stay (and Work) in Dubai
For entry into Dubai and the UAE visitor visas are a requirement for most but they are easy to obtain and renew.
Depending on how long you intend to stay in the city there are two types of tourist visa available. You can have a 14 day transit visa or a 30 day visit visa.
If you’re a resident of the UK or various other countries worldwide you can simply pick up your visa on arrival in Dubai but a) check on your eligibility before you go and b) it might save hassle and time if you apply before you go anyway.
For those considering a new life in Dubai you can start off with your 30 day visit visa but you will then have to obtain an employment visa which your employer will sponsor for you. If you are a married man and you would like to then sponsor your wife and children to reside with you in Dubai you have to be earning Dhs 4,000 a month without accommodation benefits included or Dhs 3,000 a month if your accommodation is included. Unfortunately married women who are granted employment visas cannot generally sponsor their husbands residence visa…notable exceptions are women doctors, nurses and teachers.
Depending on why you want to travel to Dubai and the UAE – whether for a holiday or the lifestyle and employment opportunities – your hotel, employer, friend or relative in the city will find it a simple enough process to apply for and secure your necessary Dubai visa for your entry into Dubai and the UAE.
